The Girl is actually called Lexy, she’s currently 21 years old and a law student at university in England. She lives with fantastic friends close to the sea and spends a lot of time with oversized headphones attached to her ears, dozing in patches of sunlight.
The Girl adores: Poor attempts at pub quizzes, making dresses, earrings, The Sunday Times, croissants with raspberry jam, the sea, nostalgia, slightly grainy photos, loud singalongs with friends, red hair, fields in hot summers, bagels with Philadelphia cheese, gin, dancing around, house rabbits, Doctor Who, freckles, notebooks, ribbon
The Girl despises: Coldplay, having no money, mornings on any day but Sunday, Marmite, diet coke, girls who think leggings are an acceptable replacement for trousers or a decent length skirt, coldsores, Nick Hornby books post-About A Boy, everything about seafood, looming deadlines, being unable to walk in heels
Contact this kitten by emailing lexy.rhg [at] gmail [dot] com. I’m happy to receive MP3s, website links, recommendations, nice press releases, general chit-chat…If you’d prefer to send hard copies of anything then just send an email to the above address and I’ll reply with a mailing address.

Hey,
Will here from Heapsaflash. (love that you put vodka under likes:)
Without beating around the bush: I work with a small music company out of Brisbane, Australia working with a wide range of ‘quality’ Australian / NZ independent artists. ‘Quality’ in quotations because obviously were not keen to waste your or our time.
Perchance you were keen; we’d like to send you occasional music releases for you to consider checking out for your blog. No big files, just an email with some basic artist info and a link to download the song if you’re interested.
To give you an idea of us : we’re currently working with Melbournians Skipping Girl Vinegar, Sydney funk-rockers Bluejuice and Sydney sci-fi soulsters The Paper Scissors. You can also check us out on Lost at e minor or Polaroids of Androids.
We pride ourselves on representing some of the best emerging Australian Independent talent around, so if you’re interested please check out our Heapsablog and leave us a message or give us a shout back on this email address.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you,
Cheers,
Will.
